Transform the future of logistics safety as a Sr. Manager on Amazon Shippings Compliance team. In this role you will lead initiatives to enhance safety and quality standards across our shipping network. Youll work with our product and program teams to work on scalable solves to automatically detect defects that impact the safety and quality of our network. you will them work with our pricing teams to charge for these defects and work with our customer success team to work with our customers t address the underlying root cause.
As an individual contributor youll analyze complex data to identify trends implement proactive safety measures and build scalable solutions that protect both our shipping partners and front-line associates. Success in this role requires strategic thinking adaptability and a passion for operational excellence.
This is an opportunity to pioneer new approaches in a rapidly evolving business space while making a significant impact on supply chain safety and efficiency. The ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment is critical in this role.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative strategies to identify capture and proactively address safety and quality defects in the supply chain
Work with partner teams to scale our automatic defect detection efforts
Analyze data and trends to continuously improve compliance processes and outcomes and work with our customer success teams to drive these with our customers
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate compliance initiatives into broader business strategies
Adapt quickly to evolving business needs and industry regulations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience in compliance audit or risk management
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Experience in internal audit and risk management or equivalent
- Strong track record of implementing process improvements and safety programs
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Masters degree or equivalent
- Experience developing and implementing of standards policies and programs or equivalent
