Location: Malton North Yorkshire
Salary: 29000 - 40000 (dependent on qualifications & experience)
Hours: 9-day fortnight (enjoy two long weekends per month!)
Must have: Right to work in the UK full driving license & own transport

A well-established and highly regarded engineering training provider in North Yorkshire is looking for a Machining Trainer to deliver practical training to apprentices. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your industry knowledge and play a key role in shaping the future of engineering.
The Role
As a Machining Trainer you will:
Deliver hands-on training in machining techniques using lathes milling machines and CNC equipment
Support and assess apprentices working towards their Level 3 Machining Technician Apprenticeship
Provide guidance and mentorship to learners helping them develop technical skills and industry knowledge
Work with a structured day-release training programme in a state-of-the-art training centre
Ensure apprentices meet industry standards and safety regulations
What Were Looking For
Strong practical experience in machining CNC or precision engineering
Training experience is an advantagebut full training can be provided for the right candidate
Excellent communication and mentoring skills to engage and support apprentices
A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ BTEC or equivalent)
Passion for developing the next generation of skilled engineers
