Duties: Grading of student assignments. There will be no contact with the students enrolled in the course. Meeting with course supervisor before and after grading of answers. Enrolment of approximately 45 students.

Total hours: 72 hours in the BNI Online Program

Start/end dates: August 27 2025 to December 31 2025

Duties: Grading of student assignments. There will be no contact with the students enrolled in the course. Meeting with the course supervisor before and after the grading of answers is required. Enrolment of approximately 150 students for the Online BNI course is expected.

Grading will be at different times during the course for smaller assessments and then more extensively during the final exam period.

Requirements: Graduate student in Nursing: Master of Science (Applied) Advanced or Graduate student in bioethics with knowledge of healthcare. Bilingual (French & English) with ability to grade in both languages. Some knowledge of legal ethical and professional practice is required. Previous experience with grading is preferred.

A key grading moment includes a written midterm and may include other assignments throughout the term.

Requirements: Graduate student in Nursing: Master of Science (Applied) Advanced or Graduate student in bioethics with knowledge of healthcare. Prior experience as a Grader for NUR1338 NUR1339 or NUR1235 NUR1236 or NUR2534 NUR2 535 is preferred.

Bilingualism in French and English.

Enrolment of approximately 120 students.

Requirements: Graduate student in Nursing (excluding qualifying and year 1 Direct-Entry students) or undergraduate in nursing (excluding year 1 and 2) with experience in medical and/or surgical nursing; previous experience as grader an asset.

  • No direct contact with students: This role focuses on grading and feedback ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Weekly meetings with the course supervisor: Collaborate regularly to ensure a seamless transition and provide essential support.
  • Approximately 35 students per section: Manageable class sizes to maintain quality and attention to detail.
  • Competency in grading research posts: Must be comfortable and skilled in providing detailed feedback on research assignments.
  • Qualifications:
    • Must have excelled in IBL class and research posts.
    • Masters Entry students (2nd and 3rd year) are a plus.
    • BNI or BScN students must have completed IBL and excelled in the course.

Duties: Grading of student assignments. The primary duties include grading assignments and/or exams as assigned by the course coordinator. The position requires one meeting with the course coordinator before grading begins and another after grading concludes of each assignment. There will be no direct contact with students enrolled in the course. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to follow marking guidelines consistently. Enrolment of approximately 120 students.

Requirements:

Completed either NUR1 235/236 or NUR1 338/399 or NUR2 534/535

Candidates should have a strong academic background in Health and Physical Assessment. Prior experience as a grader or teaching assistant is an asset.
