About the role

We are recruiting for a Future Networks Performance Manager to join our Asset and Digital division until September 2026. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership across business processes policy data and structure with a focus on demand and supply management strategic planning business development and performance and risk management. The position plays a key role in aligning operational execution with strategic outcomes and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies and performance frameworks.
  • Analyse business trends to inform demand and supply planning.
  • Provide expert advice on business performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to support service delivery.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams and manage complex performance trade-offs.
  • Continuously improve performance frameworks policies and procedures.

This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment. The position is a fixed term opportunity and will be until 30 September 2026.

About You

You bring over five years experience in similar management roles and/or excellent skills to develop implement and manage strategies and policies relevant to Future Networks area. Your strong track record of delivering complex performance outcomes while maintaining collaborative relationships is something people would attribute to you as a strength. You are skilled in program and/or portfolio management business architecture and performance leadership. Your strengths include stakeholder engagement commercial and risk management and a leadership capability that can deliver and enable outcomes from high-performing teams. You are analytical solutions-focused and confident in influencing senior stakeholders and driving strategic initiatives.
