Your part in Buderim Private Hospital team

As a CSSD Sterilisation Technician you will be responsible for the reprocessing and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment to the Operating Theatres and clinical areas within the Hospital.

What makes a difference for us

• Current clinical experience in sterilisation techniques.
• Australian Standard.
• ACHS Standards.
• NHMRC - Guidelines for the prevention of transmission of infectious diseases.
• Handling of used items for sterilisation process including collection procedures and precautions.
• Decontamination and disinfection processes.
• Demonstrated instrumentation knowledge & able to assemble instrument trays correctly.
• SRACA Membership Sterilising Research & Advisory Council of Australia (QLD) INC (Desirable)
• Available to work across all shifts AM/PM/Nights plus 24/7 on call roster
