Job Description
- This posting will remain open until filled
- Start Date: 7 hour Staff Development to happen on July 1 or 2)
- Dates of Summer School: July7 2025 - July 31 2025 (Monday-Thursday)
- End Date: August1 2025 (4 hour teacher work day)
- Daily Schedule: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Number of positions available:1
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- This will be an amazing opportunity for students entering 5th and 6th grades to explore hands-on engineering science while developing stronger reading writing math and critical thinking skills.
- 3pathway options for students incorporating engineereing design priciples
- This will be held at Tom McCall Upper Elementary in the WEST building.

Summer STEAM Academy Secretary - Grades PK-6 (Temporary)
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical support to Summer School Program
- Create maintain and file records
- Provide assistance in entering data in eSIS and ELD Database
- Communicate with program leads and staff
- Serve as an interpreter and translator as needed
- Communicate with parents and students
- Maintain attendance records and call parents regarding attendance issues
- Provide first aid to students and record medical information
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Read write and speak fluently in English and Spanish
- Skilled in use of computers including word processing and spreadsheets
- Effective communication skills
- Operate office equipment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
First aid card or the ability to obtain
