The Supply Chain Manager manages all supply chain functions which may include but are not limited to forecasting material procurement outsourcing vendor selection and distribution. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of Procurement Agents involved in the purchasing and distribution of equipment machinery and supplies. This role develops and implements purchasing policies and procedures to ensure the cost-effective procurement of a wide range of materials. Additionally the Supply Chain Manager collaborates closely with business unit leaders and departmental teams to review and enhance internal controls ensuring compliance with established policies procedures and quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees procurement operations by auditing purchase orders supplier quotes and requisitions to ensure accuracy compliance cost-effectiveness and alignment with company policies and customer contracts.
Manages vendor relationships monitoring performance to ensure quality timely delivery and fulfillment of contractual obligations while serving as a liaison between vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and align services.
Leads and supports the procurement team including supervising staff managing workload expectations providing training and serving as backup when needed.
Drives process improvement by developing efficient procurement procedures implementing new tools or systems and regularly reviewing workflows and reports for accuracy and effectiveness.
Conducts financial analysis and forecasting supporting procurement decisions through cost reviews risk identification and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate records.
Provides strategic guidance to operational departments through procurement insights and market analysis including participation in contract negotiations and recommending purchases based on market trends and supply conditions.
Maintains confidentiality and ensures the secure handling of sensitive information across all procurement activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Finance or a related field required.
57 years of progressive experience in procurement supply chain or purchasing roles including at least 23 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of procurement strategies sourcing methods contract negotiation and vendor management.
Experience with job costing financial analysis and working within ERP or procurement systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite Viewpoint Spectrum).
Demonstrated ability to lead teams improve processes and manage procurement operations in a complex or project-based environment.
Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Outlook and Adobe Acrobat is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Will work in an office environment with minimal exposure to dust noise and other environmental hazards.
Use of company vehicle on occasion.
Travel required: up to 25%.
