Job Description
Job Summary
To support students as they learn subject matter and skills for high school course credit through an online platform provider.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be proficient and highly effective in supporting online learning for secondary students
- Must be skilled and effective in facilitating online learning for secondary students.
- Provide guidance and assistance to students as they navigate and engage with the online learning platform.
- Support students to meet daily goals and provide benchmarks to meet program objectives
- Maintains standards of student behavior to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.
- Cultivates positive and effective relationships with others.
- Monitors student progress.
- Communicates with parents/guardians and colleagues.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and oral communication to effectively interact with students staff and stakeholders.
- Accurately maintain and submit performance records and reports in a timely manner.
- Consistently maintain and submit performance records and reports in a timely manner.
- Adheres to school system rules administrative procedures local board policy and state and federal rules and regulations.
- Engages in personal and professional growth and demonstrates professional ethics and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and/or Abilities Required)
Knowledge and understanding of Edgenuity online learning platform proficient in Microsoft and Google applications general understanding of high school math courses (Algebra & Geometry).
Must possess an Associates degree with experience or Bachelors degree in education. Public education (PreK-12) experience required. Must possess expertise with Excel and knowledge of visualization tools. Must possess the ability to work quickly and effectively under tight deadlines. Thorough knowledge of the principles practices and procedures of data collection analysis and data visualization; ability to develop and present ideas effectively orally and in written form; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators the School Board and general public.
