Job Description

Job Title: District Registrar

Responsible to: Director of Language Programs

Qualifications:

  • Computer skills (Word Excel).
  • Ability to establish/maintain student records and generate reports utilizing the districts student information
  • Organizational

Primary Functions:

Serve as the district registrar for all students in grades Pre-K-12

Specific Duties:

  • Process new and returning students in the on-line enrollment system
  • Complete all state reporting fields on all new and current
  • Supervise and/or process changes in student information dealing with state reporting fields such as address changes changes in status entry and exit
  • Coordinate with data specialist to make spot checks on all data involving state
  • Coordinate with data specialist to prepare reports dealing with transcripts graduation/dropout rates ethnic reports and reports dealing with out-of-district
  • Manage the storage of student records (former and current)
  • Request records from previous schools/districts.
  • Process transfers to home school
  • Lead the district Admissions Team
  • Support Admission Team members
  • Communicate regularly with district administrators office staff and all related departments regarding policies and procedures
