We are looking for a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer for our Identity team who is passionate about solving problems and addressing development needs. As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for managing development and infrastructure demands. Additional responsibilities for this role include systems architecture support and security along with deploying systems and supporting peer developers.

This role will be reporting to the Sr. Director Engineering and youll be responsible for:

• Provisioning Zscaler services on public cloud (AWS Azure GCP) using Kubernetes helm and terraform
• Ensuring security compliance of service deployment
• Working with the team to control costs and optimize cloud utilization
• Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Advocating and guiding Software Engineers in adopting DevOps philosophy

What Were Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 10 years of experience with an Engineering or Computer Science degree specializing in hosting 24x7 services on public cloud platforms like AWS (preferred) GCP or Azure
• Automation and orchestration experience using relevant technologies (e.g. Terraform Cloudformation Ansible etc.)
• Skilled in managing Kubernetes clusters and proficient with CI/CD tools like Bamboo and Jenkins
• Proficient in Databases and SQL (preferably Postgres) with experience in cloud architecture components like message queuing in-memory caches and load balancing
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring technologies such as prometheus Grafana end ELK Stack

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols like OAuth OpenID Connect SAML Federation and SSO will be preferred
