Credit/Collections Specialist

As a key player on our Credit Team youll combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills to assess creditworthiness manage collections and maintain healthy customer accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented self-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about financial accuracy and customer relationships. Youll work closely with departments like Accounts Receivable Sales and eCommerce to ensure a seamless credit process that supports both the customer experience and business goals. You ARE the financial gatekeeper and trusted advisor between State Electric and our valued customers.

TheCredit & Collections Specialistwill be responsible for:

• Assessing and evaluating customer creditworthiness
• Managing collections and discussing account balances with customers
• Monitoring and maintaining existing credit accounts
• Reviewing credit applications financial statements and credit histories
• Collaborating closely with departments like Accounts Receivable Sales and eCommerce to optimize the credit process

What Were Looking For:

• An Associate degree in Business Finance or a related field (Bachelors degree preferred)
• 2 years of experience in credit & collections accounts receivable finance or accounting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer service

Hours and Environment:

• Monday-Friday full-time position.
• This position is an office desk-based role.
• Pay is determined by experience and qualifications.
