Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Optometrist to join our team at Bright Eyes Optometry. This position is perfect for doctors who need a flexible schedule. As an Optometrist you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations diagnosing and treating various eye conditions and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients vision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations including visual acuity tests refraction and ocular health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat vision problems eye diseases and other ocular conditions.
- Prescribe and fit contact lenses eyeglasses and other visual aids.
- Provide expert advice and education to patients regarding eye care including proper eye hygiene and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with our team of referring ophthalmologists opticians and support staff to provide integrated eye care services.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practice.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Uphold and promote the clinics values mission and brand image.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid optometry NYS license
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of optometry practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and customer service.

Along with that we can help patients learn how to take care of their eyes.
