Lighthouse Lab Services is thrilled to represent a growing lab in Bryan TX in its search for an LCMS General Supervisor!

Position Overview:
- Performs routine testing quality control calibration maintenance and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures
- Follow CLIA HIPAA OSHA and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
- Responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of high complexity test performance
- Must be onsite to provide direct supervision when high complexity testing is performed by any individuals
- Responsible for monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
- Assuring that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the established performance specifications
- Ensuring that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the tests properly functioning
- Providing training to all testing personnel
- Annually evaluating and documenting the performance of all testing personnel
- Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Biology Clinical Lab Science or related field
- Qualify as testing personnel under CLIA guidelines and have at least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
- MT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Agilent 6460 preferred
- Previous experience with toxicology sample prep
Salary / Benefits / Shift:
- Day Shift: Monday-Friday 10AM-6:00PM
- Rate 75K to 100K
