Description
Traffic Signal Technician
(Full-Time Non-Exempt). The City of Spring Hill seeks to hire a Traffic Signal Technician. This employee is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all city traffic signals; assembles adjusts replaces and repairs traffic signal heads; operates bucket truck to troubleshoot problems with digital and/or analog circuits power supplies clock circuits and timers; performs preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical and microprocessor signal lights and mast arm poles. Installs and repairs conduit and traffic signal loops to include preparing and cutting the road washing and drying with compressed air and installing wire and sealant. He or she will also make street signs and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. NIMSA Traffic Signal Field Technician I certification within 1 year required. CDL strongly preferred.
