Global IT Finance Business Development Manager

About the Job

Join Ingram Micro Financial Solutions and help drive innovative IT finance strategies that empower Value Added Resellers Systems Integrators Independent Software Vendors and Managed Service Providers to meet their own and their customers global financial needs. Our programs merge IT solutions with tailored financial structures enabling resellers to deliver technology globally while supporting their customers financial goals.

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) youll grow the finance program pipeline by originating and closing opportunities through strong partnerships with Ingram Micro sales teams and reseller organisations. Youll consult with senior reseller leadership to demonstrate how our financing capabilities can elevate their engagement with end-user decision makers remove purchasing barriers accelerate sales cycles and increase deal value.

What you can expect to be doing as a Business Development Executive

  • Identify and engage with key reseller partners to build and grow a strong pipeline of finance opportunities
  • Develop tailored financial strategies using flexible scalable solutions to support complex IT sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Ingram Micro sales teams and Solution Development Executives to deliver customised financing solutions for resellers and their end-user customers
  • Provide finance and IT-centric solutions to address customer cash flow and payment needs using deep knowledge of reseller business models and customer IT goals
  • Manage the full sales process from qualification to close including internal approvals client engagement proposal development and negotiations
  • Build and maintain long-term trust-based relationships with resellers to drive sustainable growth and value
  • Partner with technology vendors to integrate finance programs into product offerings and accelerate deal closure
  • Influence and engage senior-level stakeholders across resellers customers and Ingram Micro to shape strategic outcomes
  • Support strategic planning by helping set near-term goals for target markets and contributing to wider go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate large-scale interactions and collaborative work across teams within resellers their customers and Ingram Micro
  • Leverage market insight and financing expertise to develop innovative payment structures that align with evolving industry needs

To set you up for success we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Previous IT finance sales and related financial industry business development experience with a proven track record of overachieving goals and quotas specific to IT equipment leasing / financing.
  • Record of building a network and relationships at the senior management level preferably in the IT reseller market and/or territory they will be covering.
  • Deep understanding and utilization of a multitude of financial solution strategies to close deals and subsequently leverage financial relationship successes as a catalyst for volume and customer
  • Advanced networking sales and marketing skills including proven ability to carry and sell to personal sales quota specifically within the IT equipment finance industry.
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert finance sales leader to direct the flow of engagements including a keen ability to manage accurate and efficient sales pipeline progression.
  • Ability to run oral presentations to and for C-Level clientele or group audiences.
  • Experience with IT finance centric sales training within the IT channel seller marketplace is highly desirable.
