Requirements: Bachelor of Education with a focus on Division Two education with a strong background in literacy intervention skills inclusion and Leader in Me.
Desired Qualifications/Skills
- Strengths and experience in division two.
- A child-centered approach to instruction and teacher-student relationships
- Effective organizational skills and classroom management
- An understanding of Leader in Me
- An understanding of inquiry-based learning is an asset.
- An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.
- A commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and in professional learning communities.
- An ability to differentiate instruction according to students learning styles and abilities.
- An ability to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
- An ability to establish productive relationships with parents.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth.
- A commitment to the Assessment for Learning model.
- A background in effective literacy intervention.

All candidates must hold or be able to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate have knowledge of curriculum and teaching experience at those levels/subject areas and demonstrated interpersonal and classroom management skills
