- University graduation in Business Administration or a discipline as required by area of specialization; a minimum of two (2) years directly related working experience is required.
- Two (2) years post-graduate experience in analysis application and interpretation in relation to privacy legislation.
- Extensive knowledge of privacy legislation specifically the Alberta FOIPP Act and access matters.
- Proficient in Acrobat Pro Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while effectively meeting deadlines.
- Completion of the Information Access and Protection of Privacy (IAPP) certificate program an asset.
Hours of Work:
40 hours per week Monday - Friday.
Salary Range:
21M Salary Grade: 022 $38.90 - $48.60 (Hourly) $3112.60 - $3888.70 (Bi-Weekly) $81239.90 - $101495.59 (Annually).
The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) requires a highly motivated professional with an extensive knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP) to assume the duties of a FOIPP Disclosure Analyst. Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Recommend the course of action and direct all responses relevant to formal requests made under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP Act).
- Ensure compliance with the FOIPP Act by assisting in the development of internal policies and procedures training programs and manuals.
- Assess and calculate the appropriate fees for requests made under the FOIPP Act.
- Prepare submissions presentations and requests for review brought before the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
- Provide ongoing assistance and training to members of the Edmonton Police Service.
- Other related duties as required.
