About the Role
Victoria University (VU) TAFE is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Casual ProfessionalStores Assistant to support the Hospitality Tourism & Events department. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a safe secure and well-organised learning environment for students and staff.

This is a Casual position being offered at the HEP Level 3 classification and the hourly salary rate is $39.87 per hour. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site and will include Saturday shifts (Saturday rates apply).
About You
You will have strong organisational skills and great attention to detail ensuring accuracy in stock control and store management. Your ability to communicate smoothly with stakeholders will allow you to excel in this role ensuring effective collaboration with teaching staff students and suppliers.
A team player they will work collaboratively to maintain a safe secure and well-managed store area while ensuring compliance with food safety and OH&S regulations. Your experience using stock control databases preferably Cooking the Books or Zero combined with Hygiene and Food Handling certifications will be highly regarded. You will have a valid Employee Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing in this role. You will hold an Australian Drivers licence.
