Change Manager Organisational Change Management

About the Client

Our client is a key player in the Defence sector leading the integration of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities through cutting-edge information systems. Their mission-critical platform enables users to efficiently search discover and collaborate on data across multiple repositories via a unified web interface. With strategic importance and a 10 year operational horizon this system is central to enhancing Defences analytical capabilities.

About the Role

As a Change Manager you will be instrumental in driving the adoption and sustained use of a high-value ISR discovery tool. Following a comprehensive Organisational Change Management (OCM) Review you will lead the development and execution of a change strategy and implementation plan to embed the system as a business as usual capability across Defence.

You will work closely with the Capability Manager and stakeholders to:

  • Develop and implement long-term OCM strategies and short-term action plans.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and communication initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • Support end-user adoption through training engagement and resistance management.

The Successful Candidate

You are an experienced OCM professional with:

  • Proven expertise in organisational systems stakeholder engagement and change implementation.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to assess and improve change effectiveness.
  • The ability to translate strategic recommendations into actionable plans.
  • NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
  • Experience in Defence or similarly complex environments is highly desirable.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT or Melbourne VIC.

Contract terms: 12 months from commencement date plus potential extensions

Security Requirements: Candidates must hold an active NV2 security clearance.
