Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage warehouse operations including shipping receiving and materials handling.
- Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment inventory management and product storage.
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates providing guidance training and performance feedback.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and promoting proper safety procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Utilize AS400 or similar systems to track inventory generate reports and manage warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems.
- Experience in e-commerce or 3PL environments is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with material handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
