NOW HIRING : TWO PART - TIME PUBLIC SAFETY ASSISTANT ! One will be located in Litchfield IL and one will be located in Jacksonville IL. Make a difference in your community while working part-time! Each location is seeking a responsible and dedicated individual to join our team as a Public Safety Assistant . Position Details: Schedule: 19 hours per week Pay: $18.50/hour Location: LLCC Campus Jacksonville IL (one position) & LLCC Campus Litchfield IL (one position) Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED At least 21 years old Valid Illinois drivers license Duties Include: Assisting with campus patrols and emergency response Supporting a safe secure and respectful environment Helping protect students staff faculty and visitors This role is ideal for retirees or individuals seeking meaningful part-time work in a community-focused setting.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid State of Illinois drivers license. Must meet criteria outlined in the Illinois Public Community College Act (110ILCS 805/3-42.1) no person may be appointed hereunder unless the person is at least 21 years of age and possesses a high school diploma or equivalent. No person appointed to or retained in the security department unless that person is of good character and not a habitual drunkard gambler or a person convicted of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude. Preferred Qualifications
Some college credit. Previous experience in law enforcement/corrections/ EMS . Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check

Monday-Thursday 4:30 PM- 9:30 PM
