As our Lead HVAC Engineer you will be responsible for the coordination technical oversight and successful implementation of HVAC systems and mechanical piping solutions. You will serve as the key interface between internal departments suppliers clients and authorities ensuring all systems meet stringent technical and contractual requirements.
Lead and supervise Turn-Key suppliers for mechanical systems and central HVAC installations
Develop technical specifications and tender documentation for supplier inquiries
Evaluate supplier proposals and create decision-making templates for management
Conduct technical negotiations with clients suppliers and regulatory authorities
Monitor contractual compliance and review technical documentation
Coordinate across disciplines especially with design and engineering departments
Align with clients and suppliers to ensure all systems meet contractually agreed specifications
Support procurement construction planning and commissioning
Oversee on-site activities and warranty management
Mentor system engineers and technical designers
Prepare status updates and management reports for the department head
Contribute to quality management by developing design standards and internal norms
Participate in national and international business travel as required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Process Engineering or a comparable field (Dipl.-Ing. . . . .)
Several years of professional experience in HVAC or mechanical piping system design
Proven experience in leading technical design teams
Experience in maritime projects is an advantage
Proficient in using CAD software
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
Excellent communication skills team-oriented mindset and a structured solution-driven approach
Self-motivated flexible and able to work under pressure
