Job Description

The Electromechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical test equipment by interpreting design schematics wiring diagrams and mechanical documents. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with electronic components and the tools required for precision electrical assembly. This position demands attention to detail technical proficiency and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electrical test equipment based on schematics wiring diagrams and mechanical design documents.

  • Work with a wide range of electronic components including transformers capacitors resistors rectifiers and circuit boards.

  • Use manual and automatic tools such as:

    • Wire crimpers

    • Soldering irons (SMT soldering a plus)

    • Heat guns

    • Pneumatic wrenches

    • Mechanical hand tools

    • Electrical test equipment

    • Measurement tools

    • Lifts/hoists for handling heavy components

  • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures to protect sensitive components.

  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety protocols.

  • Lift and move items up to 40 pounds unassisted.

  • Communicate effectively in English with team members and supervisors.


Qualifications:

  • 2 4 years of experience in electrical assembly or a closely related field.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

  • Strong familiarity with electronic components and systems.

  • Experience with precision assembly and soldering techniques (including SMT soldering is a plus).

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship.

  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written).


Preferred Skills:

  • SMT soldering experience (Surface-Mount Technology)

  • Knowledge of electrical test procedures and troubleshooting

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or lab environment
