Rodeway Inn Colonial Heights I-95 is located in scenic Colonial Heights welcoming both business and leisure travelers to one of the most beautiful parts of Southeastern Virginia. Our property combines the amenities and comfort travelers expect from the Rodeway Inn brand with a boutique hotel experience in majestic Colonial Heights County.


As we move into our summer season we are searching for a Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our team of professionals. Our ideal candidate has a background in the hospitality industry specifically experience as a hotel Front Desk/Guest Services Agent. Working closely with the General Manager our Front Desk Agent is the face of our hotel ensuring every guest has a superior experience throughout their stay.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Manage room reservations (in-person by phone or online)
  • Answer guest inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Provide information about the hotel services and local attractions
  • Handle billing and payment transactions
  • Maintain front desk security and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams


Successful Candidates Must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior hotel front desk experience required
  • Proficient in English additional languages a plus
  • Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g. Choice Advantage) is a plus
  • Basic computer skills (email MS Office data entry)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
