Were responsible for publishing our fares schedules and availability to customers and supporting the optimisation of our revenue management and accounting systems. About the Role
Were looking for a confident and proactive Senior Systems Analyst to support critical payment systems as a part of our Retail Enablement tribe. This full-time permanent role is hands-on and varied; youll need to be calm under pressure great at problem-solving and enjoy working across both cloud and on-prem environments in a fast-paced team.
Supporting critical payment systems: youll play a key role in supporting and improving key systems including a newly implemented payment gateway used for both online and offline transactions. Youll manage incidents investigate problems and work closely with internal teams and vendors to keep things running smoothly.
Delivering cloud and API solutions: our systems are a mix of cloud-based and on-premises platforms mainly supporting Java-based applications APIs Mule and other microservices. Youll bring strong knowledge of cloud systems (preferably AWS) and API integrations.
Driving continuous improvements: youll contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of systems using data-driven insights and root-cause analysis to recommend improvements that lift system performance reliability and user experience. Youll also maintain system support documentation to ensure knowledge is up-to-date and easily accessible for the wider team.
On-call support: after your initial training youll join an 24x7 on-call roster covering critical incidents. Youll receive an additional weekly allowance during your rostered on-call hours. On-call duties are rotated monthly so this will typically be for one week per month (subject to team resourcing).
