We are currently seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our Nebraska team:
- Write develop organize and review project studies reports and design documents for water resources projects.
- Provide field services and construction oversight for water resources projects such as dams levees streams and lakes.
- Be a mentor and develop younger engineers to become effective water resource modelers designers planners and project managers.
- Engage in public speaking regarding civil engineer water resources projects.
Likely Water Resource projects this role will be involved in are: hydrologic and hydraulic modeling storm water planning stream restoration design of flood reduction and water quality improvements and watershed-scale plans and studies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering or related Engineering field.
- 6 years of experience in water resources engineering preferably in the Midwest.
- NE Professional Engineers License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
- Interest in leading others and pursuing continual growth as a leader.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel periodically.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
