Job Description
- Meet with clients to review and determine project requirements develop project and design alternatives
- Collaborate with in-house Estimators and Project Managers to develop estimates and schedules.
- Participate in business development activities draft negotiate and execute consultant agreements acquire necessary approvals and permits and develop design within prescribed budgets and contracts.
- Manage Consultants and work with project teams to develop positive consultant relationships.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Manage development of design detailing construction document production and bid/work package completion.
- Check and coordinate all working drawings and specification documents near completion of Design Phase.
- Ensure all documents conform to BL Office Standards.
- Respond to inquiries from bidders and vendors.
Qualifications :
Must possess and exhibit the Bread Loaf Core Values: Commitment Ingenuity Integrity and Respect
Professional Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience to obtain registration.
LEED Accredited Professional.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial Light Industrial Cultural and Public Institutions Recreation Higher Education or Resort Hospitality design experience and portfolio.
Ability to manage the design/build process from conception to completion.
Ability to coordinate design issues with corresponding constructability schedule and budget implications.
Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficient skill in AutoCAD Revit Word and Excel.
Physical capacity to navigate and tour construction sites.
State License or NCARB registration required.
