Job Description

We are expanding our Wholesale Parts business throughout North Central Indiana and are in need ofParts Drivers. Drivers routes will be between Columbia City Marion and Kokomo.
This is a part-time position.
Parts Driver Position Summary:
Drives truck for the purpose of pickup and delivery of parts. Maintains delivery truck in a safe and operable condition. Maintains physical inventory as necessary. Primary goals are to provide customer satisfaction and represent the dealership in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Treat customers in accordance with dealership policies maintaining a positive dealership attitude and professional appearance.
- Provide fast and efficient delivery and pickup of both parts and sublet repairs.
- Secure payment of parts.
- Minimize vehicle downtime by proper maintenance and inform management of potential equipment problems.
- Inspect shipments at loading and unloading for damages and quantity. Make appropriate notations on delivery receipt.
- Organize schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency.
- Process parts returns in accordance with warranty and dealership policy.
- Report all overages and shortages to Parts Manager.
- Keep bin labels and location designations accurate and up to date.
- Assist shipping/receiving clerk and all Parts personnel as requested.
- Any other duties that management or the employee feels can be productive within the job description guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Valid drivers license with a clear driving record with no suspensions or major violations
- Ability to work well with customers and conduct business transactions
- Must be able to represent the dealership in a professional manner
