JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented individual to join our manufacturing company as a Painter.
Responsible for performing various tasks on a production line in a manufacturing facility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Employee must be able to work on a respirator.
- Apply paint and coatings using spray guns on various surfaces.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality uniform coverage and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and spray booths.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE for handling paints and chemicals.
- Follow orders and complete tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow prescribed procedures and guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies.
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
- Uphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of production processes quality control costs and other techniques involved in the effective manufacture of goods a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to properly identify and compile information to effectively make decisions and set priorities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Environment is not climate controlled. Limited control of heat and cooling hot in the summers and cold in the winters.
- Loud industrial environment.
- Comfortable working in enclosed spaces or at heights if required.
- May be exposed to fumes and dust use of PPE is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Walking standing kneeling bending are required up to 90% of the workday
- Lifting pushing pulling up to 50-70 pounds up to 20% of the workday
WORK HOURS:
- This is a full-time position. Work week is Monday through Friday 10-hour shifts. Saturday will be required when production demand requires overtime.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time.
