YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- The NPI Engineer will fully support all future Hard Tag new projects and related NPI project development and qualification.
- In charge of quality & reliability testing for the new product with co-operation with Quality dept.
- Bill of Material (BOM) construction.
- Generate cost model for customization/new product when is necessary.
- Plan execute follow-up and lead on customization/ new product build by working together with product development engineer to proceed with Released for Production (RFP) status.
- Act as the liaison person or contact window for commercial team and external customers for customization/new product requirement prior to kick off.
Qualifications :
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Min 5 years of relevant experience with hands-on experience with NPI activities (knowledge in R&D and Project Management are a plus).
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment and is comfortable with document reporting.
- High computer literacy technically good with numbers and is able to work independently.
- Resilient highly adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferably working experiences in plastic injection line and familiar with DFM/ mold analysis knowledge.
- Well verse of Autocad/ solid work or other drawing tools is a must.
