As the Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt storage and distribution of materials and products. Your responsibilities will include:
Inventory Management: Oversee raw material and finished goods inventories conducting regular cycle counts and addressing discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
Shipping & Receiving: Manage the timely and accurate shipping and receiving of materials ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments negotiate rates and resolve any transportation issues.
Forecasting & Accrual: Develop and manage accurate logistics spent forecasts and handle monthly accrual processes.
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead warehouse and logistics staff setting priorities providing guidance and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Process Optimization: Analyze and improve warehouse and logistics processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and meet operational goals.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement production quality planning and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business objectives.
Qualifications :
Avery Dennison values experience and education that align with the demands of this role. Ideal candidates will possess:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in warehouse and logistics operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle ERP Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Certifications: Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local state and federal regulations related to logistics and warehouse operations.
