Job Description
Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design build and release software products in multiple programming languages frameworks and libraries. Our client is Kingfisher a British multinational home improvement company headquartered in London. The organization is currently expanding the Software Engineering team and as part of this initiative we are currently seeking several skilledMiddle Back-end Engineersto join our ranks.
In this role you will play an integral part in our innovative tech hub engaging with various aspects of technology. The position is a hybrid one based in Cluj requiring office presence two days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in implementation of high-performance solutions based on a proper understanding of the clients business requirements.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies (Java Kotlin Cloud infrastructure with AWS Azure GCP Event Driven Architecture with Kafka).
- Collaborate with peers across different development teams.
- Ensure that the delivered product adheres to predetermined standards of quality.
- Follow the best practices and agreed coding standards (unit testing integration test component test).
- Provide guidance and mentorship to developers at varying experience levels.
- Actively participate in every stage of the application development lifecycle.
Qualifications :
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in back-end services development.
- A robust understanding of microservices.
- Experience in Java with Spring.
- Docker knowledge.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with Event Driven Architecture (preferably with Kafka).
- Proven ability to interface with and guide partner teams and resources.
Nice to have:
- js JavaScript Knowledge.
- Cloud exposure (Azure AWS Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with Domain Driven Development.
- PostgreSQL knowledge.
- Kotlin exposure.
