St. Michael Medical Center is looking for an RN to join our team in our hospital in Silverdale! This 500000 Square-foot hospital will be the most energy-efficient hospital in Washington and will provide an extraordinary healing environment for our patients with beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and Dyes Inlet. Responsibilities
Job Summary:
This 24-bed critical care unit houses patients being admitted for cardiac thoracic and vascular care. Progressive care is a fast paced environment requires high level of critical thinking adaptability and personal initiative. Staffing is based on national standards of care and includes 1:3 and 1:4.
Essential Duties:
Provides continuous cardiac monitoring arrhythmia recognition and intervention.
Initiates and titrates multiple complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing BSN preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire.
- Must meet the requirements of the year long programincluding preparation work and class attendance
- Must remain in a full-time position for the entirety ofthe year long program
- Must be able to work and train on either night or day shiftsincluding holidays
- Must agree to terms and conditions of the program
