The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic person to lead our food service team at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home. Your work in this role will help us continue to provide dedicated superior care to our veteran residents and their spouses. As a Food Service Supervisor you will be responsible for directing and participating in the overall preparation and service of food to residents at Delaware Valley Veterans Home. Your duties will include inputting data regarding resident population and their food preferences preparing and maintaining diet tray cards and reporting resident-related information to the Clinical Dietitian. In this position you will develop and maintain daily production assignment forms prepare menus and food for Activities Department-related functions and special functions and supervise portioning and handling of food. You can expect to supervise and coordinate all activities related to meal service and cafeteria service. Additionally you will develop and implement training procedures for the care and use of supplies and equipment and procedures for cleaning.
