SERVICE ENGINEERING JUNIOR SPECIALIST

ROLE DETAILS

A leading innovator in Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) is looking for a hands-on and motivated Service Engineering Junior Specialist to join its growing North American operations. This is a key support role that involves assisting with assembly installation and maintenance of advanced 3D printing systems both in-house and on-site at client locations.

Youll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the assembly and preparation of systems at the Austin facility
  • Assisting with on-site installation and integration under senior supervision
  • Providing basic troubleshooting and technical support during and after deployments
  • Collaborating with clients to ensure proper setup and operation of equipment
  • Helping manage daily facility tasks such as warehouse organization inventory checks and purchasing support
  • Contributing to technical documentation and assembly guides
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements alongside the engineering team
  • Supporting project logistics including equipment readiness and shipping coordination

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • 02 years experience in machinery assembly maintenance or technical support within manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on skills in mechanical/electrical assembly
  • Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software (Rhinoceros a plus)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Mechatronic or Robotic Engineering (focus on AM is a plus)
  • Full Driving license
  • Willingness to travel to client sites across the US
