Job Description
Our East Syracuse NY laboratory is looking for a Monitoring Services Technician to join their Smart Sense team! The Monitoring Services Technicians primary responsibilities are to fill client orders for air quality monitors by assembling testing and calibrating the units to customer specifications.
Job functions:
- Routes incoming packages to appropriate department.
- Opens packages and signs in returned equipment.
- Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assembles inspects tests and/or calibrates all items needed to fill client orders per LIMS order summary.
- Designs and assembles units to meet client specifications for the project
- Performs Quality Control checks of routine client orders.
- Coordinates with vendors to support data platforms and unit connectivity
- Ships client orders using vendor software platforms (UPS FedEX and DHL).
- Adheres to SOPs ensuring proper procedures are followed consistently.
- Maintains all required documentation with accuracy and clarity.
- Provides exceptional customer service both internal and external clients.
Qualifications :
- Knowlege and hands on experience with electrical components and connections (Required)
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Diploma and 1-2 years of general work experience (Preferred)
- Proficient English language skills (Required)
- Strong attention to detail (Required)
- Basic reasoning and mathematical skills (Required)
- Basic computer skills (Required)
- Ability to lift/carry/push or pull upwards of 30 lbs constantly (Required)
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$22.00. This position is eligible for overtime pay.
In addition your compensation package includes the following benefits:
