The Senior Procurement Analyst analyzes cleanses and maintains master data to enhance processes systems and departmental performance. A solid foundation in data analytics neural networks and machine learning is essential for extracting insights from complex datasets applying advanced statistical techniques and developing predictive models to optimize business processes. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into strategic high-impact solutions that drive efficiency and decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills and independent judgment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Job Responsibilities:- Identify and implement improvements within the Procurement department by collaborating closely with warehouse Logistics IT Customer Service and business units to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Develop machine learning models including neural networks to forecast inventory trends optimize sourcing strategies and improve decision-making.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques to evaluate supplier performance demand forecasting and risk mitigation ensuring data-driven procurement decisions.
- Identify automation opportunities and leverage AI-driven tools such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to enhance procurement workflows and minimize manual inefficiencies.
- Support current Inventory Analysis/Optimization
- Ensure accurate inventory metrics by continuously monitoring and updating inventory data.
- Determine optimal SKU location sizes to enhance warehouse space utilization.
- Analyze and establish efficient stock groupings for improved operational efficiency.
- Proactive research and present operational improvement opportunities supported by comprehensive analytic reports.
- Manage current and future procurement-related projects overseeing planning execution and performance monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare project documents timelines and status reports to track progress and align stakeholders.
- Execute ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned to support departmental and company-wide initiatives.
Job Requirements:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Data Analytics Economics Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in procurement supply chain data analytics or a related role.
- Experience with inventory analysis required. Extensive inventory management experience a plus.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel (advanced) SQL Python C Power BI and Tableau for reporting and visualization.
- Strong understanding of machine learning neural networks and predictive analytics for procurement optimization.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to streamline procurement workflows.
- Familiarity with statistical modeling and data-driven decision-making techniques.
- Demonstrated process improvement and critical thinking skills through data analytics and logical thinking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve procurement processes.
- Excellent problem solving detail oriented training/material retention interpersonal and conflict management skills required.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
The salary range for this role is $75000-$90000 plus incentive.
This is the lowest to highest rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. An employees pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including but limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location and prevailing minimum wage performance shift travel requirements sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs.
