Responsible for all coaching duties that pertain to a Varsity Softball program. The program is a spring sport and the season will run March 16 2026 through June 12 2026. Title: Varsity Softball CoachQualifications:Experience as participant and/or coach of the assigned post at the secondary or collegiate interest in and aptitude for performing the tasks Cross certification in the area of first aid and CPR training must be current and within a reasonable period of time upon assumption of alternatives to the above qualifications a the School Committee may find appropriate and to: Athletic DirectorSupervision: Students and Assistant CoachJob Goal: The coach works as a member of the Athletic Department to provide students with a comprehensive and interscholastic program. Such programs to lead students to achieve and maintain physical fitness a sense of pride and competence in acquiring new skills promotion of their sense of self and Responsibilities:Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport and schedules a regular program of practice in purchase of equipment supplies and uniforms as necessary attendance forms health records insurance records and similar paperwork. Oversees the safety conditions of the facility or area where the sport is conducted while students are performance criteria for eligibility in interscholastic competition in his /her disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and establishes and oversees penalties for breach of such standards by individual the effectiveness of the program and interprets it to the public the staff and the responsibility for carrying out all the health aspects of the constant supervision of all participants involved in the assigned transportation as : Performance of this assignment will be evaluated by the Athletic of Employment: Compensation and duration of coaching season as negotiated and approved by the School Committee.
