Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey that will revolutionize the way men suffering from BPH are treated Join us as Director of Manufacturing Engineering and be at the forefront of producing a best-in-class therapy and technology that promises to become the standard of care for BPH. Your mission Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team for Capital Equipment in both sustaining and improving the production operation for the Hydros and Aquabeam robotic systems but also supporting new product introduction for the next generation systems and all future Capital Equipment. This isnt just any job - its a chance to make a real difference. We need a technical leader with the vision to guide production operations larger scale and capacity while maximizing the quality and performance of every system produced. We are looking for someone with the leadership skills to create a premier engineering team and build a cross-functional team dynamic that optimizes development and operational speed with a product quality unmatched in the space. What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:

    • Lead the new product introduction manufacturing engineering team and function for capital equipment.
    • Skills needed include equipment and process qualification and validation pFMEA manufacturing documentation creation DFX to build quality and cost effectiveness early in design development and tooling and equipment design.
    • Build strong relationships with R&D Quality Supply Chain and Regulatory functions.
    • Lead the sustaining engineering function for capital equipment.
    • Expertise in managing a dynamic workload define and implement cost improvements work with production leads to assure operator safety management of NCMR and CAPA maximize yield and always assure continuity of production to established plans and targets.
    • Partner with the disposable business operations team to define and align common best practices as well as needed differentiation points for a low volume high-cost durable equipment.
    • Determine group priorities and vision. Establish a strong cadence of completing the most important initiatives to plan and relentlessly prevent nonvalue added work from entering the program queue.
    • Implement continuous improvement structure and excellence to maximize first pass yield optimize reliability improvements institute a balance of programs to reduce cost and increase velocity.
    • Hire lead and mentor the capital equipment operations team. Technical excellence coupled with great communication skills and an attitude geared at being the best customer possible to your teammates.
    • Create and operate to a defined budget (expense capital and resource) that accomplishes the company goals in a responsible and efficient manner to ultimately maximize product margin.
    • Assure all work is performed in compliance with FDA and international standards as well as Procept documented practices.

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess

    • Education requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in engineering discipline.

    • Work Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years experience in the Medical Device industry
    • Minimum 5 years experience in Operations and managing engineering disciplines in medical device or highly regulated industry
    • Minimum 3 years experience in production or manufacturing engineering of Capital Equipment
    • Skills or knowledge:
    • Strong knowledge for cGMPs is essential.
    • Demonstrated understanding of applicable FDA and ISO standards
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and project management capabilities
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in building cross-functional to resolve conflict and negotiate with operational team as well as R&D Quality regulatory Supply Chain and others.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver to customers needs and on time.
    • People management skills including interviewing hiring and training employees delivering rewards and recognition as well as all aspects of performance management.
    • Competency with Microsoft Word ExcelPowerpoint and ability to learn any other software packages as needed for operations management or perfoming with the broader Procept business.
    • Travel requirements are less than 20% of your annualized time. Ability to travel to suppliers or additional Procept facilities as needed.
    • This position requires a full-time commitment to be present at a Procept facility.
    • Remote or hybrid work is not allowed.

The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess

    • Masters degree in engineering or engineering management
    • Experience working with production of a robotic or complex electromechanical system
    • Certification in Lean Six Sigma
$213000 - $251000 a year
Compensation also includes a 25% annual bonus and RSUs at offer!

For this role the anticipated base pay range is $00 per year.
Plus eligibility for a 25% annual bonus and equity/RSUs

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to job-related skills depth of experience relevant certifications and training and specific work location. Based on the factors above Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus equity and the benefits listed above.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Well provide you training for and ask you to maintain trained status for and comply with all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
