The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Bureau of Land (BOL) Permit Section Groundwater Unit is seeking to hire an Environmental Protection Geologist I. This position performs a variety of supervised functions that provide an introduction to and training in geologic and hydrogeologic analysis pertaining to groundwater systems. The ideal candidate will assist higher-level geologists in reviewing and regulating activities associated with groundwater in accordance with regulations including but not limited to 35 Illinois Administrative Code Subtitle F Part 620 and 35 Illinois Administrative Code Subtitle G rules.
