We are looking for a Shop Compressor Technician 1 in our Service Center in Central Repair New Iberia LA - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What youll do:
Youll be based out of our Central Repairs New Iberia LA service center
Youll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends and there is a potential for travel
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of Oil Free Compressors power generators diesel engines and electrical distribution equipment
Troubleshoot equipment failures breakdown equipment and handle shop repairs and refurbs.
You will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites
Were experts which means youll have the following skills and experience:
High School diploma/GED
3 years of experience working on Oil Free Air Compressors or power generators electrical distribution equipment.
Conceptual understanding of diesel engines hydraulic systems start/stop of electric motors and VFDs is a plus.
Practical electrical knowledge with logic controllers contactors and relays.
Based on the customer requirements you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card
Valid drivers license
Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50 lbs.
