P3-C3-STSJDLevel 2 Support Engineer WAF & CybersecurityJob Title L2 Network Security Engineer (WAF Specialist)Experience: 4 to 5 YearsLocation: BangaloreJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled L2 Network Security Engineer with 4 to 5 years of hands on experience in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) network security and public cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in managing WAF technologies such as Imperva as a must and AWS WAF Azure WAF as an optional along with solid experience in traditional firewalls public Cloud and network security ResponsibilitiesConfigure maintain and optimize Imperva Cloud WAF solution. Manage and troubleshoot network security devices including Palo Alto Fortinet Check Point or similar firewalls. Monitor security events analyze alerts and fine-tune security configurations for optimal protection. Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate security into cloud and on-prem deployments. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and work on mitigation strategies. Maintain security documentation including architecture diagrams policy definitions and operational procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications4 to 5 years of experience in network security engineering with 2plus years working specifically with WAF with Imperva Cloud WAF. Experience with AWS WAF Azure WAFScripting knowledge (Python Bash or PowerShell).Strong understanding of network protocols TCP IP HTTP S DNS SSL TLS NAT and VPNs. Working knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS and Azure). Awareness of OWASP Top 10 MITRE ATT&CK and applicationlayer security threats. Optional Familiarity with security monitoring tools Splunk ELK SIEM platformsOptional Handson experience with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto Networks Fortinet (FortiGate) Check Point Cisco ASA/Firepower. Preferred Certifications (Nice to HavAWS Certified SecuritSpecialty Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Palo Alto Networks PCNSE Fortinet NSE Level 4 or above GIAC GWAPT GCIH GPEN Mandatory SkillsImperva Cloud WAFnetwork securitypublic cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
