Mechanical Design Engineer
Limavady
Salary up to 40000 depending on experience
An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading company specialising in innovative solutions for the Energy Renewables Water and Wastewater sectors. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will help design and deliver high-quality tailored engineering solutions to clients across the UK and Ireland.

The Role
- Design and develop products for the water wastewater and energy sectors.
- Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Prepare supporting documentation including 2D drawings BOMs P&IDs control philosophies and specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure product integrity.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements.
- Support installation and on-site commissioning of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and project documentation procedures.
The Person
- A Degree (minimum 2:2) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 3 years post-graduate experience in a design engineering role.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and experienced with 3D CAD tools.
