Salary: To be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the range of $85143 - $100169 per annum.

Acadia University invites applications for the position of Director Teaching and Curriculum Development a strategic leadership role within the Office of the Vice-Provost Curriculum & Planning formerly the Vice-Provost Teaching and Learning.
The Director provides critical leadership in enhancing teaching excellence and academic program development at Acadia University. The Director will guide institutional strategies that foster pedagogical innovation uphold academic quality support faculty development and contribute to ongoing review and reporting. This position collaborates with faculty members academic leaders and institutional partners to advance evidence-based practices in teaching curriculum design and scholarly inquiry related to learning and instruction
The Director will provide leadership in the following areas including but not limited to:
The successful candidate will be a thought leader and skilled practitioner who demonstrates a deep understanding of curriculum theory assessment design inclusive pedagogy and the scholarship of teaching and learning. The role requires strong strategic planning project management and communication skills with the ability to influence institutional culture and support the professional growth of educators.
The Director will supervise the Teaching Curriculum Development & Planning team and provide day-to-day leadership mentoring workload planning and performance management.
