Custodian

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Custodian to maintain cleanliness safety and organization within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating floor scrubbers and forklifts and committed to supporting a clean and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse floors using floor scrubbers buffers and other janitorial equipment.

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to assist with the movement of materials as needed.

• Sweep mop vacuum and sanitize floors restrooms break areas and other high-traffic zones.

• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company and safety policies.

• Restock cleaning and paper supplies throughout the warehouse and common areas.

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management immediately.

• Follow all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Assist with snow removal or exterior cleaning tasks as needed during seasonal changes.

• Support special projects cleanup after spills and respond to urgent cleaning needs as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior experience in industrial or warehouse custodial work.

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one (company may provide training).

• Ability to operate floor scrubbers and other custodial machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

• Dependable attendance and ability to work with minimal supervision.
