The Opportunity
TECKpert seeks an ERP Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a cloud-based ERP solution for our client a government agency in Florida. The ERP Project Manager will coordinate all project phases manage stakeholder communication and ensure timely delivery within budget.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead development and maintenance of a detailed project plan with milestones timelines and resource allocation.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide concise updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage project scope schedule and budget including tracking expenditures and forecasting.
- Coordinate with functional leads to gather requirements validate business processes and drive change management.
- Oversee data conversion activities ensuring accurate mapping and validation of test loads.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy including user acceptance testing and issue resolution.
- Coordinate end-user training create training materials and support change management communications.
- Identify risks and issues develop mitigation plans and escalate when necessary.
Compensation and Term
This opportunity is for a part-time contract position with possible extensions with pay commensurate with experience up to $55 per hour.
Qualifications you need
A successful candidate possesses or provides the following:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years managing ERP implementations preferably in the public sector.
- Proven experience with data conversion testing and change management in large-scale software projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint Smartsheet or similar).
- Familiarity with government procurement processes budget management and public-sector workflows.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with financial permitting and licensing asset management and departmental applications for local municipalities.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preffered.
