Job Description

Heavy Construction Equipment Operator Description Details

  • Operate several types of heavy commercial construction equipment such as excavators backhoes track hoes bull dozers skid steers vibratory compactors forklifts and motor graders to excavate move and grade earth erect structures dig trenches or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement.
  • Must also clean maintain and secure all equipment as directed by federal and state law and company policies and procedures.
  • May repair and maintain equipment and associated maintenance records in addition to other duties assigned by project supervisors.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks. Position requires long duration of sitting stooping and operating heavy equipment in inclement weather.
  • Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment. EOE/Vets/Disabilities.

Experience

  • 5 years Heavy Construction Equipment Operator experience REQUIRED.
