Qualifications
PhD degree in Writing and Rhetoric Studies or related field required. Minimum 5 years of related experience. Experience managing or working in a Writing Center and in peer tutoring. Experience using WCOnline. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities. Experience teaching academic writing to undergraduate and graduate students. Collaborative orientation with the ability to manage and organize a wide range of people and projects. This position requires a flexible work schedule including late evenings and/or occasional weekends and the ability to travel to conferences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with writing studies research preferred. Knowledge of Google applications (Gmail Docs Sheets Slides). Familiarity with writing center best practices and current trends in writing pedagogy.
