Job Summary:
The Quality Specialist monitors and analyzes data of clinical and other quality outcomes. The Specialist is responsible for the collection management and analysis of quality data preparation of quality reports and reporting of quality data to the Quality Manager and other leadership or departmental teams. The Specialist shall have and employ practical knowledge of tools and techniques of Continuous Quality Improvement including analysis and interpretation of data using electronic health record systems (NextGen) disease registries or similar data collection systems. The Specialist will collaborate with and serve as a resource to department leadership and staff and will provide training on documenting or recording data relevant to JVCHC quality measures. The Quality Specialist will assist and participate in preparation for all clinical audits and surveys.
