The Office of Financial Management (OFM) is seeking candidates interested in a career path of accounting and grant administration. To meet the departments goals every year OFM manages the release of more than one billion dollars in assistance to local governments non-profits and small businesses. Accountants play a key role in the review and approval of all financial components of more than 800 grants the department releases every year which are essential for Illinois to meet its economic goals. By joining the team as an accounting & fiscal administration career trainee you will learn grant accounting standards as well as internal state accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn the financial ins and outs of state government accounting and excited to help the department execute grants to spur economic opportunity. We welcome interested applicants who can oversee accounts and records of this State agency to apply.
